30 Steps to Becoming a Writer
This workshop — based on the book of the same title — offers a unique step-by-step plan for becoming a writer. Each of the 30 steps combines information, tips, inspiration, and at least one hands-on activity. The process begins with discovering your own enthusiasms and passions, proceeds through creating and rewriting a complete work of prose or poetry, continues with the basics of submitting your work and getting it published, and ends with planning your future as a writer. Whether you’ve just begun thinking about writing for pleasure or profit, or you’ve been working at it but had trouble staying focused, this workshop can help you become the writer you want to be, one step at a time.
